The Ludwig Black Beauty made its debut in 1920 as an 8-lug black nickel brass shell. Single-flanged 8-lug brass hoops give this snare a classic tone and open tuning pattern straight out of last century. Special appointments include a full outfit of brass-plated hardware — tube lugs, throw off, and butt plate — and a commemorative 110th-anniversary badge. Includes a new Anniversary model snare bag.
